About: CCD students graduate from cutting-edge programs ready to take the next step in their lives, whether it’s to transfer to a four-year institution or begin a new career. CCD promotes excellence in teaching, learning, and service to a diverse community and enrolls over 8,000 students each year on its Auraria and Lowry campuses and online. Among the student population, 92 percent are Colorado residents, more than 30 percent are Latinx, more than 50 percent self-identify as underrepresented, and our international students represent more than 40 nations. The College offers more than 100 degrees and certificates in transfer and occupational education, and CCD’s core classes are guaranteed to transfer to Colorado public colleges and universities.
Ball State University Community College Leadership Program
About: Designed to meet the professional needs of community college administrators, faculty, staff, and those who seek such positions, Ball State’s graduate certificate in community college leadership is one of only a few offered in the United States. Some features of our program include:
A low student-to-faculty ratio means you get personal attention and valuable mentoring
Several electives allow you to customize the certificate to your educational and career goals
Some but not all of the courses in the certificate can be taken online. The remaining courses, as well as some of the elective courses, are offered only on our main campus in Muncie, Indiana. You will work with the program advisor to choose the courses that are best for you.
