Launching a Collegewide Online Course Quality Review Initiative

In the fall of 2017 we began the journey of adopting and implementing a peer-based online course quality review rubric and process with the goal of narrowing the gap between our traditional and online course student success rates. This journey involved faculty, union representatives, staff, and administrators who worked to pilot and launch the collegewide process in less than a year. Join us as we retrace the steps of our journey to launch this initiative. Webinar participants learn how to identify key stakeholders who can help implement a collegewide online course quality review process; how to obtain buy-in for, pilot, and rollout a collegewide process for reviewing online courses; and how to use the Open SUNY Course Quality Review rubric as a course design review tool.
