15 Invaluable Laws of Growth

Description

Are you wanting to grow and develop professionally but not sure how? Do you feel stuck with your place in your career? Do you feel that you have unfulfilled potential? It is easy to get comfortable with your current position, overwhelmed with the thought of shifting to something new, and feel scared about getting out of your comfort zone. Through John Maxwell's 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth, we will discuss potential and growth identifying intentional actions you can take. We will work together to develop the right attitude, learn your strengths, find your passion, identify your purpose, and develop your skills so you can be all you can be.

By the end of this workshop, participants know or be able to:

  • At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to identify the 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth, identify steps they are taking to intentionally grow self, and intentionally develop others.
  • At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to identify the premier gap that has them trapped, action steps to take, and how to alleviate hindrances.
  • At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to take steps to transform limiting beliefs into empowering new beliefs.

Plans for Audience Participation and Interaction:

Each participant will receive a guidebook for the entire session will fillable forms. The session will be interactive eliciting discussion. Each of the 15 Invaluable Laws will have interactive activities. Finally, each participant will be given a small journal for post session activities and growth development.

Dr. Stephanie Duguid is a respected administrator with extensive experience leading ten college divisions, multiple initiatives, faculty, and staff at Copiah-Lincoln Community College who holds a Bachelor’s in Human Performance, Master’s in Sports Health Care, Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. She has experience as instructor, Division Chair, CTE and Academic Administrator and now serves as the Dean of Academic Instruction and Chief Academic Officer. Dr. Duguid is a certified Maxwell Leadership Team Member who implements the John Maxwell principles and practices daily in her administrative role. Through various cross-functional teams focused on advisement, instruction, and innovation of cutting-edge educational solutions, she has worked to drive greater efficiencies, engagement, and student success.
