[COLLEGE] Selects NISOD Excellence Award Recipients

[COLLEGE] is proud to announce its recipients of the annual NISOD Excellence Awards. The 2027 honorees include <recipient’s name>, <recipient’s department>.

NISOD’s Excellence Awards recognize individuals who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment and made significant contributions to their students and colleagues. In 1989, in connection with a University of Texas at Austin national study of teaching excellence, NISOD hosted its first ceremony honoring Excellence Award recipients. The response was so positive that NISOD established what has become the largest and most inspiring gathering that recognizes the contributions and achievements of community and technical college faculty, administrators, and staff.

Excellence Awards recipients receive a specially cast pewter medallion, suspended from a burnt-orange ribbon, that they can wear proudly at campus events such as graduation ceremonies. Recipients are also recognized in the NISOD Excellence Awards Booklet and on NISOD’s website.

“The NISOD Excellence Awards celebrate the faculty, staff, and administrators whose dedication makes a meaningful difference for students,” said Linda L. García, executive director of CCCSE. “It is a privilege to recognize their outstanding work and the lasting impact they have on their college communities.”
