NISOD is excited to share tips that will help your college make the most of an Institutional Registration!
Come Together In Person
The Annual Fall Virtual Conference takes place on October 19-21, 2022, from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. CDT. Encourage faculty to attend the live event alone or together at a designated viewing location on your campus! Attending the live event allows participants to engage with the session facilitators and ask questions. If you host a conference screening on your campus, consider creating in-person breakout discussions amongst faculty to discuss the day’s sessions.
Recreate the Live Event on Your Campus
The live Annual Fall Virtual Conference provides an opportunity to connect participants who tune in together from across the country and beyond. When your college purchases an Institutional Registration, you also unlock the ability to recreate this collaborative experience among faculty, administrators, and staff at your college by accessing the archives sessions for six months after the date of the live event. Plan screening times using a meeting app such as Zoom to show each session at a time when participants can tune in and interact with each other via the meeting app’s chat feature.
Build Community Across Groups
The Annual Fall Virtual Conference allows faculty, administrators, and staff who might typically work in silos to come together over shared goals, such as professional development and student success. Colleges that purchase an Institutional Registration can create small online or onsite breakout groups consisting of faculty, administrators, and staff to watch and discuss the sessions and use their shared expertise and experiences to create holistic, collegewide action plans.
