Has your college used what it learned from students to create meaningful change? The College Excellence in Student Engagement Award recognizes cross-functional teams at community and technical colleges that use findings from a CCCSE survey to improve the student experience.

The award celebrates colleges that move from insight to action—redesigning programs, services, policies, or practices to strengthen student engagement and success. Initiatives may be pilots, expanding efforts, or fully implemented practices. What matters most is the connection between what your college learned, the actions it took, and the difference those actions made for students.

Each college may submit one application based on one eligible survey and one initiative. The application invites colleges to share the student experience challenge they addressed, how survey findings informed their decisions, what they changed, how people collaborated, and what they learned about the initiative’s impact.

The application is designed to be manageable. Colleges are encouraged to tell a clear, compelling story about how they listened to students and used what they learned to improve the student experience.
