I strongly encourage you to make your room reservation at the conference’s host hotel. The convenience! The networking! The success of NISOD’s annual conference depends on registrants using the contracted hotel to offset the sizable costs of producing the meeting and exposition. NISOD cannot meet its obligations if registrants reserve rooms in non-contracted hotels. The risk of significant financial penalties increases with each registrant who stays outside a NISOD-contracted hotel. Making reservations through third parties, meeting planners, housing bureaus, or travel websites impacts NISOD’s ability to control attendee registration costs. Cut-Off Date
The cut-off date for guests to make their hotel reservations in NISOD’s discounted block is May 3, 2024. After May 3, the hotel will take guest reservations at the group rate based on their availability.

A Note of Caution: As the date of this event draws closer, exhibitors and attendees may be subjected to improper solicitation from third-party housing agencies. If you are contacted by anyone asking if you “need a room for NISOD’s annual conference” or representing themselves as the “NISOD Housing Bureau,” please get as much information as you can – such as name of the company, the person calling, and their telephone number – and immediately email these details to ed@nisod.org.
Poachers typically offer room reservations at a significantly lower quality. In other circumstances, cancellation policies are often harsh and unforgiving. DO NOT make any reservations through unknown companies. Most importantly, do not provide them with your personal information, especially your credit card number. These rogue companies (commonly referred to as “pirates” or “bandits”) may charge your credit card for services not rendered. For these reasons, and to support our efforts to give you a quality event, we encourage you to book your housing accommodations using the links provided by NISOD on this website.
