Member Spotlight – El Centro College

Last year, El Centro College celebrated its 50th anniversary of providing a quality educational experience for the citizens of Dallas county. This year the college graduated its 50th class of students and celebrated this milestone in the college’s history on May 10, 2018. We had Ms. Barbara Sue Sherrill Jones serve as our commencement speaker, the first graduate of the college and of the Dallas County Community College District. The past 50 plus years have provided an extraordinary return on investment to Dallas by “changing lives through higher education” thanks to our dedicated faculty and staff.”—Dr. Jose Adames, President
