Ferris DCCL Encourages International Travel Through Globalization Initiative
Ferris State University’s DCCL program introduced a study-abroad option for a required practicum in 2016. Large groups of DCCL students and faculty have traveled to China, Australia, Germany, the Netherlands, and Finland. In February, 20 students and staff traveled to England. 

Ferris DCCL Publications Keep Educational Leaders Informed
Ferris DCCL students are responsible for a variety of publications, including Perspectives, a monthly, informational compilation on an issue relevant to community colleges, and At Issue, an annual, singularly focused publication that highlights a key issue community colleges face. These publications are free and openly accessible. 

Ferris DCCL Offers DCCL Alliance Program 
The DCCL Alliance offers colleges access to a selection of publications and professional development offerings that are customizable to organizational needs, ranging from half-day to multi-day or semester-long programming, with face-to-face, blended, and online options. Facilitators include current faculty, community college leaders from across the nation, and graduates of the DCCL program.

Every month, NISOD turns the spotlight on the effective ways member colleges use NISOD benefits. These member colleges exemplify NISOD’s mission of improving teaching, learning, and leadership, with the ultimate goal being to increase student success.
