GUIDELINES FOR STATEMENT, PHOTO, AND DVD DEADLINE: MARCH 1, 2010

STATEMENT We want to know what inspires and motivates you in your work; what strategies help drive your success; and/or what words of wisdom you might pass on to others (50 words). Selected statements are displayed on our website and on video screens stationed throughout the Convention Center during NISOD’s International Conference on Teaching and Leadership Excellence. NISOD reserves the right to edit all statements. Submission Instructions Please submit your 50-word statement online. (The username is "nisod" and the password is "statement." Must be all lowercase.) Please check out the sample statements from the 2009 NISOD Excellence Awards recipients before you submit your statement. PHOTO We would like a photo of you working with students. Selected photos are displayed on the NISOD website and on video screens stationed throughout the Convention Center during the International Conference on Teaching and Leadership Excellence. Submission Instructions Please email photo [color, 3x5 or 4x6; 72 dpi] of you working with students. No headshots, please. The electronic file must be labeled college_lastname_firstname.jpg. (For example, Jane Smith from Austin Community College would be austincc_smith_jane.) DVD Submission instructions Note: The photo, statement, and DVD are optional.
