Check out our options for Faculty and Staff Professional Development Days!

Are you starting to plan your college’s fall, winter, and spring Faculty and Staff Professional Development Days? Are you seeking an easy, affordable, and high-quality solution? NISOD has assembled an outstanding group of community and technical college leaders and other experts whose workshops cover a wide array of topics!

Face-to-Face Campus Workshops

Face-to-Face Workshops allow colleagues to come together at the local level to share experiences, network, and learn from one another as they address issues and best practices specifically relevant to their institution.

Virtual Campus Workshops

Virtual Campus Workshops also allow colleagues to come together at the local level, but without the travel, accommodation, and expenses and inconveniences associated with face-to-face gatherings.

Regional Workshops

With our Regional Workshops, the host college invites faculty, administrators, and staff from area colleges to also attend a workshop to network, be inspired, and learn best practices from one another. The smaller format allows for more meaningful conversations, idea sharing, and peer feedback. Plus, participants from the host college receive a significant registration discount!

Virtual Workshops

Virtual Workshops consist of one or more modules that provide opportunities for synchronous interactions between participants, the presenters, and the content in meaningful and fun ways without having to leave their home. Your faculty, administrators, and staff can participate on their mobile device or computer in the comfort of their living room or office, saving them time, as well as effort.

Regardless of the format, workshop participants leave with in-depth insights, skills, and materials they can immediately use in their own instructional and student support practices. They also earn, at no additional cost, a digital badge and certificate that provide a web-enabled, verifiable documentation of their professional learning experience!
