LLCC Provides Relief to Small Businesses
The Illinois Small Business Development Center at Lincoln Land Community College is providing relief to small local businesses with an emergency loan fund.

New Workforce Initiative Opens Doors for LLCC Students
LLCC was awarded a $1 million grant in September to establish the Open Door Workforce Equity Initiative. This initiative provides minority and low income individuals career training that leads to employment locally in less than a year. Eligible students began in January and received free tuition, a stipend, transportation, and child care assistance

Agriculture Center a ‘Showpiece’ for LLCC Campus
To support the growth of LLCC’s agricultural program and to honor the intent of the $18 million Charles and Irene Kreher Charitable Trust announced in 2018, the college is constructing a new agriculture facility. Groundbreaking for the Kreher Center for Agriculture took place September 19, 2019, and doors are expected to open in the spring semester of 2021. This cutting-edge facility will feature state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories, student gathering spaces and a spacious, glassed-in exposition area for agricultural simulators.
