How much does it cost to exhibit at NISOD?
To exhibit at the NISOD Conference, you must be a partner. NISOD has three levels of corporate partnership: Bronze ($5,000), Sterling ($10,000), and Platinum ($25,000). We offer year-round benefits to our partners; exhibiting is just one of them. Find out more about partner benefits.

My non-profit organization/foundation would like to exhibit at the NISOD Conference.  What is the cost?
Friends of NISOD is a special relationship reserved for non-profit organizations and foundations only. A 10X10 Booth costs $1500, and a 10X20 Booth costs $2500.

Who attends the NISOD Conference?
The 2010 NISOD Conference attracted approximately 1800 participants representing more than 400 community colleges and other institutions of higher learning worldwide. Participants are 65% faculty; 20% CEOs, vice presidents, and deans; 12% division/department/program chairs and directors; and 3% board members and others. NISOD has hosted the largest conference focusing on community colleges in the past 4 years.

What is the passport system?
Each conference participant will receive a passport brochure in their conference registration packet. Conference participants will receive an official stamp on their passport from your organization when they visit your exhibit. They must receive an official stamp from all exhibitors to qualify for the Grand Prize Drawing held during the Tuesday night reception. Please be sure to have a representative from your organization at your exhibit during Exhibit Hall hours. Participation in the Passport system is free of charge. Official stamps will be left on a table in your exhibit before the reception on Sunday.

Any tips on getting more conference participants to attend my session at the NISOD conference?
Here are a few suggestions:

  • Present with a client from a community college so they can share how your company’s product or service has benefited their college.
  • Demonstrate how your company’s product or service provides a solution to key issues at community college—i.e., student engagement, retention, etc.
  • Craft an engaging presentation title and description for the conference program. Don’t include the name of your product in the description. Here are a few examples.
  • Avoid a lecture-style format and opt for a more interactive presentation—i.e., use an audience response system, include small group discussions, etc.
  • Offer a prize for attending the session
